A Proper Goodbye Post
I know I know, I’ve taken a lot of breaks but this time it’s a true goodbye. No “I’m coming back” anymore. I’ve been roleplaying as Alicia for about 3 years and then it was fun, adventurous and interesting. Now it’s not so much.
Q: How did it all begin?
A: Well, I stumbled across MassieBlockBlog when I was searching for The Clique website. I realised that people were actually roleplaying as the Clique characters and I decided to join in on it and make an account.
Q: So, how did you become known as the ‘LeeshLove’?
A: It’s quite funny actually, you see- I had a MASSIVE fight with MassieBlockBlog who was then the most famous Massie roleplayer and then we sorted out our differences, became close, and she helped me with my own popularity.
Q: Were there any other good Alicia roleplayers?
A: Yes of course, but I was probably the most renowned seeing as I stayed the longest and was the most committed one.
Q: Would you see yourself as the true “WP Queen Leesh”?
A: Yeah, haha. I’m quite a legend, I mean I was there in the beginning but I’ve got to make way for the up & coming Leesh’s.
Q: Who do you see as the “Queen Bee of WP”?
A: No one, not even me. We’ve got loads of RP’ers calling themselves that, like, OMB. But, no – if there had to be one then, MassieBlockBlog. Now, none of the roleplayers now will know her except Annie and Asi, I think (not sure on that) and maybe OMB just before MBB left. OMB started roleplaying after me and asked me for advice before gaining her popularity, just as I did to MassieBlockBlog. So, MBB is the real Queen Bee of WP. And no one can take her place, in my opinion.
Q: Why are you leaving?
A: I started roleplaying when I was 12 and I’m nearly 15. Nearly 3 years. I think I’ve outgrown the Clique and I’ve got GCSE’s to focus on.
Q: Have you enjoyed your RP experience?
A: One word, ahb-solutely.
Q: Any last words?
A: Eh-ma-gawd, I heart you guys so much! And, awl the best! Mwah!
HEART – LeeshLove.
Grown Ups
This whole PC thing is getting a bit childish for me.
Decided to move on I guess..
Bye? Will write a better goodbye post later when I have time..
Back to Black
Elegantly slim, full or cropped – the classic trouser makes a welcome return
Black trousers. So eh-legantly swellegant, no? So skippety-chic, like Audrey Hepburn. So liquorice-legged and sexy on Freja Beha Erichsen. And yet so often like a magician’s assistant, or a waiter, if worn without due caution. Maybe it’s because black trousers are so easy to get wrong – too shiny, too flimsy, too power-dressy – that we have cuh-lung so tightly to our jeans. Get the fah-bric, form or fall wrong and you fast resemble the other half of a cabaret act. There are too many things to consider.
But consider we must, because not since the last 90′s heyday of Helmut Lang have black trousers enjoyed such popularity. Back then, people were forced to stalk the school section of John Lewis in search of similarly masculine hip-slung slacks, so rare were they. Now, at least, the options are plentiful. They were simple and boyish, with leather inserts and gently tapered legs at Celine; at Jil Sander they were ski-inspired and stirruped; Yves Saint Laurent provided svelte floor-sweepers; Tom Ford sabre-sharp silk satin flares; and, at Louis Vuitton, laser-cut leather jodhpurs led the charge for fetish chic.
My own black trouser odyssey began in the spring. This winter, the trouser has been revisited in a flat-fronted schoolboy style, matt as a blackboard and as reassuringly simple. I’m cuh-rently lusting after the deliciously androgynous versions that featured on Karl Lagerfield’s post-apocalyptic catwalk at Chanel. Worn with an oversized blazer or big knit and heavy boots, such roughed-up elegance feels very Jules et Jim.
At night I will channel a more minimal statement in slim Gerard Darel, with a tuxedo stripe, barely grazing the ankle – guh-loriously simple and sub-buh-limely comfortable.
I may nawt be able to produce a rabbit from a hat, but a failsafe black trouser solution? Now, that is ahb-viously mah-gic.

The Deadly Pool of Gossip
“What you don’t see with your eyes, don’t witness with your mouth.”
Dear Luh-vly WordPress Buh-loggers,
When I first came to WordPress, I was involved in AH-LOT of duh-rama. In fact, that was the way I became ‘The Leesh Love’. I fought with the most popular Massie then (MassieBlockBlog) who has left and we set our differences aside, thus with experience I climbed the WordPress Legend Ladder – I’ve had a good dose of drama.
I think these GG’s came ah-bout three-four days ah-go. It’s puh-thetic being a gossip girl, it’s ahb-viously nawt a good thing being a GG seeing as you kind of have to hide your identity so your reputation doesn’t go down. I don’t even care who these GG’s are because I don’t see them as relevant.
This whole GG thing awn-ly becomes a puh-roblem when it gets too far.
And it has.
No, they haven’t done anything to me personally and they wouldn’t dare – but it’s hurtful when I see other buh-loggers getting attacked for the most ridiculous things.
This whole PLL issue shouldn’t be an issue. The PLL deserve to be called Legends seeing as they are. I even entered their contest. Their buh-log is a fun idea, nawt some type of conceited show-off buh-log. If you see it as this – you’re puh-robably jealous.
Gossip is sometimes interesting but when it gets TOO far, it becomes an issue.
I don’t have anything against anyone personally, but don’t you think this has gotten too far gurlies?
Sincerely, Alicia Rivera. ♥
P.S. And to awl those heartless gossip girl buh-loggers, I hope one day you choke on the shit you talk – much love.
My Tears Dry On Their Own
Amy Jade Winehouse
1983-2011
She was absolutely amazing. A true talent, with a voice powerful enough to light the whole world. Amy you shall be missed. It’s so sad to think that you were so close to help but yet so far away from it. If only you got the much needed help without saying, “No, no, no.” you may have been here now. Let’s not dwell in the past, there’s nothing we can do now but pray that “Our tears dry on their own”.
I actually can’t believe you’re gone, I’ve always been a fan of you and one of my friends even performed your song in school and we never even imagined you would go so soon. It’s heartbreaking. A young, extremely talented girl; wasted and I don’t mean ‘drunk’ wasted – this time, it was her life.
Addictions start with, a taste, then become an addiction, until it’s an obsession and then finally, end with a life if not stopped. Hers could’ve been stopped but they’d tried to make her to go to rehab and she unfortunately said, “No, no, no.”
You start with a mistake and then if it happens again, it’s no longer a mistake but your DECISION, a CHOICE. Unfortunately, she CHOSE the wrong path, it was too late and now, she’s gone.
RIP BEAUTIFUL.
With Love… Alicia Rivera. ♥
